This scene opens with King Duncan's [[arrival]] at Macbeth's castle. Duncan is completely [[oblivious]] to the true [[nature]] of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth's [[hospitality]]. He even states that the 'castle hath a [[pleasant]] seat' showing that he has [[faith]] and [[trust]] in Macbeth. Lady Macbeth continues her [[pretence]] of being the [[welcoming]] hostess paralleling [[good]] and evil in this scene.
