This scene opens with Macbeth presenting himself as [[fearless]] and ready to [[fight]]. The audience also learns that [[Lady Macbeth]] has committed [[suicide]] and this news is delivered by one of Macbeth's men [[Seyton]]. Macbeth is too [[preoccupied]] with his thoughts about the upcoming [[battle]] and therefore has not time to [[grieve]] for his wife. He nows believes that life is [[meaningless]]. Macbeth also begins to [[doubt]] predictions from the [[witches]] because the army is approaching. Despite this, he still remains [[determined]] to take on the battle.
